Revenue Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this individual will be a key player in all issues related to the Accounting, Reporting, & Analysis within the Revenue Cycle. This position will allow exposure to Senior Executives at a high-growth company that have a proven track-record of success

The ideal candidate will have a sound working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including ASC 606 and should be in search of an opportunity where one can “See and Do” the entire accounting picture
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions

• Own the revenue close process and ensure the accurate recording of revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis. Includes reviewing and / preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Review complex licensing arrangements for appropriate revenue recognition and document conclusions in audit-ready memos
• Maintain and update internal control documentation and support audits of related controls
• Support the external audit and quarterly/annual SEC filing by timely submission of PBC schedules and reporting packages and pro-active partnership with the audit team
• Partner with various departments including (but not limited to) Enterprise Applications, FP&A, Inventory and Business Operations to design system enhancements and process changes
• Learn the details and be prepared to “roll up your sleeves,” when needed in order to meet executive expectations
• Ensure compliance with requisite document retention requirements, HIPPA and PHI

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience and Certifications and other
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of relevant experience, healthcare experience preferred but not required
• CPA is preferred
• Big 4 or Large National/Regional Audit experience is a major plus.
• Possess a good working knowledge of ASC 606 and must be comfortable with ambiguity
