Retail Financial Analyst

What You’ll Do: Manage North America retail store P&L and capital expenditures, including the preparation of financial budgets, monthly forecasts, and reporting Partner with accounting team on month end journal entries and accruals as well as investigate general ledger entries to ensure proper coding Analyze North America retail store P&L and provide commentary on variances against budget, prior forecast, and LY results Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase profitability across the retail store divisions Work cross functionally with departments to manage expense line items Prepare and distribute store financials to Regional Directors and District Managers on a monthly basis Prepare store proformas, and provide hindsight analysis on store performance Work on miscellaneous ad hoc reports and requests for senior executives You’ll Need to Have: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in finance or accounting 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis Retail industry experience Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Excel We’d Love to See: Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion Essbase and Planning, and Microstrategy is a plus Highest degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail Project management skills, from initial idea through execution Ability to think analytically and problem solve Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capri Perks: Generous Holiday Schedule Internal mobility across Capri Brands (Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, Versace) Cross-Brand Discount Exclusive Employee Sales Fav 5 Cards (MK Discount for friends and family) 401k Match Paid Parental Leave Thrive Wellness Program (seasonal in-office massages and more) Commuter Benefits Gym Discounts At Capri, we are all responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
