The role of the Researach and Program Evaluation Manager is to identify, develop, and lead special projects/programs for the Public Policy and Management Center ( PPMC ).
Projects/Programs could include but not exclusively be limited to applied research and data analysis, survey development, program evaluation, financial analysis, technical assistance and organizational assessments.
This position will provide direction or manage PPMC staff, graduate assistants and project associates on technical assistance projects.
Responsibilities of the Researach and Program Evaluation Manager include developing, implementing and directing project/program initiatives primarily for nonprofits, local, state and federal constituents related to management, finance and technical issues.
This position will: oversee project budgets, including grant funding, and will track revenues and expenses for PPMC projects; initiate new programs and projects, secure funding sources and continue to expand the scope and services of the PPMC ; and be responsible for representing the PPMC at events and meetings in the state, region and nation.
The position will assist with developing projects with an interdisciplinary approach through integrated research, teaching and community service.
Master’s degree in public administration, economics, political science or closely related field by the date of hire 1.
Five years of leadership experience in public service 2.
Three years of research, consultation or analysis work in nonprofits or government services, including: grant management, public management, and financial and evaluation services, as well as working in non-profit or business model of service delivery.
