Ensures the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger, prepares financial reports, and analyzes and reports variances.

nn nn Primary Responsibilities: nn Works closely with region business controller to provide day to day accounting and financial analysis support Responsibilities include analyzing plant operating expenses, production volumes, and inventory balances for accuracy and completeness Applies in-depth accounting knowledge to solve moderate problems Interprets internal or external accounting issues and recommends best practices Month end responsibilities include review of expense transactions, preparation of journal entries, analysis of plant production volumes, and account reconciliations May develop accounting models to address specific business needs and problems Ensures accounting conforms with GAAP, company policies, and SOX documentation Ad hoc projects and financial analysis Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience n n Job Requirements: n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required 3-5 years relevant accounting experience, manufacturing environment preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills JD Edwards experience is preferred Oracle Business Intelligence preferred Highly organized and a strong team player nnAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other reason prohibited by applicable law.nn
