The Project Finance Analyst will join a team of Project Finance professionals who source, negotiate, and execute project sales and structured financings, including whole or partial project sales, construction financing, back leverage, and tax equity financing.

The Project Finance Analyst will support project valuation, due diligence, and execution of project acquisitions/closings/sales as well as investment initiatives for utility and battery storage projects This role will play a critical role in the business helping to develop and maintain a variety of relationships in the renewable energy space; as well as knowledge base of current trends, activities, and changes within the industry at-large.

This positon will based out of our headquarters in Durham, NC Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Own every aspect of the project financial model for both mid-stage and late-stage development assets, including significant time working on project offtake bidding and structuring.

Monitor the debt, tax equity, and cash equity markets for appropriate valuation techniques and pricing Prepare and explain capital structure sensitivities, becoming intimately familiar with the potential capital permutations and value levers Assist in building models, tools, process, and infrastructure that supports the organization’s accuracy, efficiency and scalability.

Support (and eventually lead) various aspects of a project sales and financing, including but not limited to, Due Diligence.

Dataroom Management, Term Sheet and Transaction Document Support, Independent Engineer Reports, Appraisal/Cost Segregation Reports, Insurance Consultant Report, Project Closing activities Interface with stakeholders across the organization to capture information relevant to the financial returns of leads, opportunities, and projects under development Support projects that are operational and financed by Strata, including refinancing activities, consent processes, financing document compliance, and modeling Constant monitoring of the power markets, including structured energy transactions, to help ensure project finance-ability and valuation Experience & Skills: 2-5 years of experience with project finance models in investment banking and/or the renewable energy industry, including modeling tax equity and debt structures.

Finance, economics, accounting, or similar degree Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VBA), Word, and PowerPoint, including experience with project financial modeling Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties No third party solicitations or resumes will be accepted for this or any other Strata Solar position.
