Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Principal Financial Analyst to support our Chandler, AZ location.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Active participation in program Earned Value in compliance to CPR/IPMR data reporting requirements; Facilitate preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy.

Manage baseline efforts, and support efforts for Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR’s) with customers.

– Prepare EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions
– Support the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash
– Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
– Internal and External support of compliance audits
– Assistance with contract negotiations
– Support of pricing and proposal activities
– Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections
– Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management
– Promotes the professional development of the business management workforce, fostering a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around ethics and integrity, employee engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth, and continuous improvement
– Maintains the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics

Basic Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 5+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control, OR a Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience

– Expertise with Microsoft Office suite.

– Experience with Earned Value and financial reporting on a variety of contract types

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with TM1 financial forecasting system & COBRA earned value management system

– Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry.

– Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR

Salary Range: 72200
– 108400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
