Payroll Tax Accountant

Well established fashion and toy company is seeking a Payroll analyst to join their team.

1. Prior experience in ADP

2. Prior experience processing high volume payroll

3. Experience with Payroll Tax

4. Strong Attention to detail

5. Prior relevant experience + Accounting or Finance degree

Job Requirements:

• Maintain employee payroll records and payroll reports
• Improve payroll services and payroll system
• Update all payroll tax information on payroll reconciliation sheets after each payroll
• Perform internal payroll tax audits
• Ensure payroll tax reporting and tax payments
• Confirm payroll data audits and payroll registers
• Ensure payroll tax regulatory compliance
• Perform various payroll audits to ensure payroll is
• Verify employee payroll data in all payroll-related systems
• Assist in payroll tax research
• Prepare all payroll tax payments; ensure timely receipt of all payroll tax
• Use specialized payroll and tax software to prepare payroll tax returns
• Assist with weekly payroll processing
• Setting up payroll tax accounts, and payroll related taxes and compliance
• Update payroll tax liability worksheets
• Respond to payroll tax related questions and resolve payroll tax issues Company
• Handling the payroll tax process for multi-entity, multi-state payroll
• Provide payroll processing testing support
• Prepare various payroll and management reports
• Reconcile quarterly payroll taxes, payroll bank statements and review the accuracy of payroll deductions to payroll output
