Ref ID: 02680-0011866107 Classification: Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director Compensation: $125000.00 to $125000.00 yearly Oversee all payroll functions for Imperial Dade’s 60 US locations and 5000 employees using ADP Workforce Now and ADP eTIME Maintain payroll processing system to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions Resolve payroll issues as they arise and implement procedures to mitigate future risks and errors Maintain data integrity within the payroll system; develop strong controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely payroll Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices Manage all system integrations, specifically ADP eTIME with ADP Workforce Now Collaborate with the Finance teams on General Ledger posting, payroll budgeting inquiries, to ensure accurate reporting Recommend the development of new policies and procedures utilizing knowledge of federal, state and local government regulations and reporting requirement Advise on the tax implications of certain matters, such as adding employees in new states or localities, fringe benefits, tax gross-ups, etc.
Audit quarterly tax filings and file amendments were necessary Work with external auditors on annual audits, walkthroughs, and all other information gathering.

Our client has over 4,000 employees and they are looking for someone very hands on with HIGH volume payroll processing, as well as experience in a multi-state and union/ non-union environment.
In addition to the hands on payroll needs, this role requires management oversight, process improvement and the ability to identify changes/ improvements.
The Payroll Manager needs to have experience working with ADP WFN.
The Payroll Manager will have high visibility and will report directly to the VP of HR and work closely with the CHRO.
The Payroll Manager must be comfortable with integrating newly acquired companies into the current companies payroll practices, ensuring compliance, work with audits, and much more.
The position will sit full time in the office in North Bergen, NJ.
