Position Information

Job Title: Real Estate Partnership Accountant

Salary: $80,000/year

Hours: Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm (But not limited to).

Location: Bellevue, WA

Who You Are

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Be an excellent communicator – both verbally and in written correspondence
  • Have accountability and take pride and ownership of your work
  • Be able to read, speak, write and understand English
  • 5+ years’ of experience in real estate or private equity fund accounting is highly preferred
  • CPA is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Knowledge of property accounting is preferred – preferably for multifamily assets

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for various partnerships, investors and/or clients.
  • Prepare and review distribution allocations and partner capital statements
  • Onboard new real estate partners and ensure the accurate set up of overall accounting for new funds and any fees
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of year-end audits and tax preparation
  • Work with third parties such as company’s CPA, banks and investors/partners
  • Engage with internal and external teams to coordinate and execute upon company goals and deliverables
  • Adhere to any and all company financial controls and procedures
  • Reconcile accounts accurately and report as needed.
  • Perform accounting for various properties and asset classes.
  • Prepare budgets and detailed reports as well as expense reconciliation duties
  • Perform appraisal, capitalization and asset evaluation to aid the company and its investors in making wise investment decisions.
