Performs financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of capital investments and potential business development activities.Core ResponsibilitiesManages monthly reporting/close, quarter forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan for Corporate Expenses and their allocations to Business Units.Analyzes internal financial information (profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.), providing key insights on trends in key performance indicators.Assists in long-range financial planning processes and drives associated financial modelling.Leads capital expenditures financial analyses presented for the Investment Review Committee. Creates financial models to analyze various business opportunities and cost savings initiatives.Serves as a financial business partner to senior leaders for their budgets (IT, COO, Financial Operations, HR, etc.), helping create an informed decision-enabling environment, effectively communicating financial information, and driving continuous improvement and process transparency. Performs additional duties and ad-hoc analysis as directed.Qualifying ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.); Master’s Degree preferred (MBA, Finance, etc.)7 or more years of related experience (FP&A, Financial Reporting, Finance Business Partner, etc.)Expert level in PowerPoint, Excel, and data manipulationFluency with Hyperion and/or SAP preferredFinancial consulting and analysis skills, including ability to assess needs, identify issues, recommend alternatives, and implement changeProven corporate financial analysis skills, including a knowledge of financial business plans and processesAbility to present to & support senior leadershipExcellent verbal and written communication skills – able to communicate financial concepts to non‐financial audiences, senior business partners / budget owners.Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and structure complex financial projects and processes with various stakeholdersDemonstrated understanding of financial processes and systemsStrong ability and experience in performing multiple concurrent tasksAbility to work independently and as a team leaderMay supervise FP&A and/or Financial Reporting AnalystsIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.Owens & Minor is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
