ModivCare: Financial Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Denver, CO posted January 27, 2022.

The Financial Analyst reports to the Billing Manager within the Finance Department and requires strong data mining, analytical and technical skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detail-level analysis of revenue billings and adjustments.

He or she will analyze accounts receivable collections and work closely with management to help make decisions about client payments, contractual obligations, utilization and expenses.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented individual capable of analyzing large data sets with innovation in mind.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBilling Ensures timely and accurate client invoicing.

Includes fee-for-service invoicing and revenue reconciliation statements and settlements.

Queries and manipulates data through Microsoft Access and/or other databases to create invoices.

Maintains documentation of internal controls over the preparation of client invoices.Collections Participates in accounts receivable collection efforts.

Interacts with key client contacts and internal departments, including Legal, Client Contracting, Revenue Assurance and Client Services to aid in the collections efforts as appropriate.Financial Analysis Prepares information to support cash collections forecasts, based contract terms and payment timing expectation.Audits Maintains SOX compliant documentation of internal controls related to the billing cycle.

Supports internal, external and client contract audits as requested.Leads special projects including new software implementations.
