Elior North America is looking for a Manager, General Accounting to join our Corporate Team in our Ridgeland, MS office.This role is part of our Shared Services team that supports the mission of our 1800 accounts across the US.We are looking for innovative and entrepreneurial associates to join the fastest growing food and beverage management company.

If you are looking for a challenge and the opportunity to make a difference this is the opportunity for you!**Job/Role Overview**The Manager, Revenue Accounting oversees a team of professionals to ensure revenue is recognized correctly, customer billing is accurate, and the accounting treatment meets Company requirements based on IFRS or GAAP guidelines.

Additionally, the Revenue Accounting Manager will help define and validate departmental goals for the Operations Team.The Manager, Revenue Accounting will work in a dynamic environment, tackling new challenges, and acting as a change agent for the company.

While work has been centralized within SSC, there is a need to optimize center efficiencies by introducing standardized processes and procedures across all business segments.

The Revenue Accounting Manager will lead this work for their area of responsibility.

This role reports to the Director, Revenue Accounting, Shared Services and leads a team of approximately 5 employees.

This position interacts extensively with the Operations Finance teams.**Key Responsibilities**+ Provide leadership and direction of team to ensure that team goals are met+ Provide subject matter expertise on the treatment of revenue accounting+ Manage the billing area and associated responsibilities, including month-end/weekly calculations, verification of operating results, preparation of necessary journal entries, paid commissions, inventory adjustments, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, and invoicing+ Ensure compliance with applicable policies, review contracts to ensure that revenue is recorded in compliance with contract terms+ Ensure proper and accurate recognition of revenue in accordance with IFRS and company policies and consistent across multiple companies.+ Ensure documentation is consistently and continuously updated+ Lead operational improvement initiatives to further streamline revenue tasks and shorten the revenue close calendar+ Standardize processes to unlock the synergies of a Shared Service Center approach and allow higher use of automation, interfaces, and data analytics.+ Define key metrics for performance measurement and tracking+ Research and prepare written accounting policies and positions as-needed for non-standard revenue transactions+ Coach and mentor 5 team members to support their growth/professional development; identify the mix and level of talent required to support current and future objectives+ Build and maintain relationships with external auditors and key business clients+ Develop and implement internal controls and procedures related to revenue recognition, monthly close/weekly close and reporting processes+ Assist with annual external audits and other ad hoc projects as needed**What We Are Looking For**+ Must have large ERP system experience in a high volume, dynamic environment.

Great Plains ERP experience preferred+ Comprehensive knowledge and experience with revenue recognition concepts and practical application, month end close procedures, controls, internal reporting & analytics, and working with external auditors.+ Experience working with IFRS accounting principles and accounting software+ Deep knowledge of accounting; conceptual and practical experience in researching, understanding and communicating technical accounting issues.+ Strong leadership, analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.+ Ability to work on cross functional activities and form solid business relationships.+ Proven revenue accounting/Billing operations improvement experience.+ Approachable and collaborative style.+ Seen as a subject matter expert, strong team leader, and valued partner with the business.+ Ability to serve as a change agent to their team and the organization.**Requirements**+ Undergraduate degree required; Accounting or related field+ Advanced degree/certification desired+ Seven (7) or more years of Accounting experience+ Three (3) or more years in a management leadership position+ Experience dealing with multiple work sites / remote groups+ Dynamic leader who is comfortable leading change within an organization+ Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel+ Great Plains ERP system knowledge (preferred)+ Ability to solve problems, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment+ Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high degree of integrity and drive+ Comfortable learning new systems and operating within those systems+ Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills+ Adapt to change with a positive attitude+ Customer service mentality+ Prior experience working in a Shared Services organization is preferred_The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are subject to change at the discretion of the employer._**About Elior NA**Elior North America enhances people’s lives through culinary innovation and a commitment to providing exemplary service.
