Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and results-orientedVP of Data Products and Engineering to join the Data Products & Analytics team, a team of data engineers and technology professionals who define, lead and execute the strategic data for LPL Financial.

The successful candidate will build data solutions using state of the art technologies to acquire, ingest and transform big datasets The Analytics & Data Product Organization is responsible is to supporting LPL Financial strategic objectives through the use of its data and analytical assets.The ideal candidate must also possess strong analytical skills, be a strategic thought leader with strong business acumen, and be adept at collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise (sales, marketing, service, business solutions, and technology) to drive key business outcomes.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in data strategy & management, analytics & AI/ML tools, and building data products & capabilities with a strong focus on delivering solutions at speed and scale to solve key business priorities.

Responsibilities: As VP Data Product and Engineering, you will be leading data, analytics, and machine learning ecosystem, developing innovative data products to enable firm-wide decisions and insights and driving the integration of data capabilities across Sales, Service, Marketing, Business Solutions, and Technolgy.

Manage data engineering Partner with each business area by providing them the tools, expertise, and support for them to understand and analyze their own data; and to make data and analytics a differentiated capability for the firm Develop and execute the long-term data strategy, transformations, and roadmap to deliver use-cases cross-sales, marketing, service, digital, and data product strategyInfluence business strategy through a partner-focused product vision backed by data and purposeDrive the integration of data capabilities to create a unified customer experience across all our digital channelsPartner with business teams to prioritize data needs, provide clear business requirements, and partner with technology teams to deploy the solutions using agile methodologyDefine, implement, and manage the business logic for centralized curated and derived data setsPartner with technology teams to lead the data platform strategy including developing data, analytics, and machine learning capabilities in Big Data, RDBMS, and cloud environmentsLead the strategy to evaluate, leverage, and monetize internal and external data sources to drive business valueDevelop new data products and solutions (such as segmentation, lead management, personalization engine, etc.) to drive profitable growth for the firmPartner with data engineering and platform teams to evaluate, recommend and mobilize the best analytics, visualization, and machine learning toolsPartner with analytics and data science teams to deploy automated analytics and machine learning solutions What are we looking for?

Requirements:5+ years of financial services experience in data, analytics, or a related function and advanced knowledge and experience of data strategy and data product management3+ years of experience of using SQL,Python, R for data analytics5+ years of experience working with RDBMS and distributed computing platforms1+ years of experience working with machine learning tools and techniques such as regression, SVM, gradient boosting, deep-learning (ANNs), Tensorflow, Keras, Caffe2, PyTorch etc.Why LPL?
