Job Overview:Our team is actively seeking a motivated and talented Software Development Engineer in Test who is passionate about testing software through automation.

You will be part of an inter-disciplinary team of hardware, firmware, software, system, and test engineers to develop and integrate cutting-edge technologies for Financial Services Company building E2E automation solutions connecting Advisor Platform, Investor Platform and Teammates.Youll work closely with product and engineering teams to understand features, develop and automate test cases, improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production.

Responsibilities:Automating tests using internal and open source tools & infrastructureReviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionalityWorking with software engineers to understand product architecture and featuresCreate and maintain data scenarios to support test plans and test casesAnalyzing test results, being a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development processDocumenting and track bugs to closureWorking in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software What are we looking for?We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience.

Requirements:4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or SDET in agile scrum teams working on test plans, test processes, methodologies and tools.Hands on automation development experience working with technologies: Java, Python, JavaScript, .Net etc.Hands on experience with SQL, ability to understand, write complex queries and validateHands on experience with test plan, test case creation, execution, regression for web application and APIs / web services.

Core CompetenciesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment where resourcefulness, determination, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success.Positive attitude and ability to take ownership on releases/ features / stories / tasks to deliver with quality.Preferences:Bachelors degree in technical field, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentUnderstanding of CI/CD and how QA/automation process fits into the modelKnowledge of automation tools like Appium, Xcode, Selenium, BDD and CucumberFluent in API and UI testing and creating automation test suitsFinancial Industry experienceWhy LPL?
