ResponsibilitiesAssist with month-end close including preparation of accurate and timely financial statementsGeneral ledger account reconciliation including, but not limited to, complex balance sheet reconciliationsBank reconciliationsPreparing journal entriesReview and analysis of income statements and balance sheets fluctuationsAssisting accounting team with preparation of internal and external financial statementsAssist with preparation of period end audit workpapersSkills/ RequirementsCurrently working towards BS in Accounting or FinanceComfortable in fast paced, high intensity transportation accounting environmentDesire to learn and improve processes and proceduresStrong computer skills/technology proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort in working with multiple software packagesStrong oral and written communications and interpersonal skillsCommitment to organizational skills and time managementStrong emphasis on meeting tight deadline windowsDetail oriented, with ability to organize, prioritize, and work well independently or with others to meet all required deadlines
