Job Summary:
Rapid growth within our organization necessitates the need to hire a Junior Accountant to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills and a head for numbers. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Junior Accountant will be our primary point person for accounting functions at the site including everything involved with the purchase process, routing, approvals, and supporting corporate finance and accounting initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Support the purchasing process/expense recognition process from placing the purchase, getting approvals, documenting the transactions.
· Support the facilitation of the credit card reconciliations.
· Be actively involved in the recognition of revenue.
· Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
· Respond to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
· Ensure compliance with GAAP.
· Assist the corporate controller as needed.
Education/Experience/Skills:
– Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
