IT Finance Modernization Program Leader

Intel IT Corporate Functions / Finance is looking for a Finance Modernization Program Leader to partner with Intel Finance and within IT to drive business process improvements and implement touchless automation solutions.

IT and Finance are increasing the automation and utilization of our existing SAP ERP system and designing with an S/4 implementation in mind.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAP Finance capabilities and hands on experience transforming financial processes for large organizations.

The role is to be a transformation leader with SAP Finance content experience and cross-functional solutioning experience.

Professional program management experience is also beneficial.

The opportunity space includes the SAP ECC and surrounding ecosystem for Cost Accounting and Inventory Valuation, Financial Close and Reporting, Capital Planning and Fixed Asset Management, Treasury and Tax, and Intel Capital.

This position will report to the Vice President of IT Finance Systems and partner closely with the product owners and agile persistent teams in IT.

Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

• Report to the Vice President of IT Corporate Functions / Finance.
• Engage with finance business partners to address manual entries with automation that meets a “touchless” standard, using standard SAP functionality wherever possible.
• Work with cross-functional teams in IT to stage the automation development and implementation work.
• Design recording to meet reporting needs in a way that is S/4 ready.
• Take a broad perspective of policy, business process design, data design and automation, not just automation.
• Build a 2-3 year roadmap for recording and reporting efficiency and effectiveness, not just a list of current projects.
• Establish strong relationships with team members across Finance and IT.
• Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience successfully delivering complex financial integrations aligned to business outcomes while managing cross-functional dependencies

5+ years experience in:

• SAP ECC FI/CO
• Managing Information Technology (IT) or Finance transformational teams or projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP ECC cost collection, cost flows and product costing methodologies
• 5+ years of experience navigating change in large, matrixed, and geo-dispersed organizations
• This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Intels Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel.

This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications.

IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
