Our client, a global middle market boutique investment bank, is looking to bring on an experienced Associate to their strong technology group. This is a great opportunity to work on some of the most lucrative cross-border transactions in the technology space and hone your skellset as a tech banker. This opportunity is ideal for any tech banker looking for an exciting challenge in the middle market with a global bank but with more autonomy than a bulge bracket.

Must have at least 4 years of direct banking experience or an MBA + 1 year

Must Haves:

– Deep knowledge of the M&A process within the technology space

– Experience selling industry expertise at a premier bank

Role Description:

• To develop detailed industry materials for the technology space
• To work on transactions including sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory for companies across the tech space and it’s subsectors
• Maintaining client relations during the deal execution period and building industry-specific or product-specific expertise
• Regular contact with other internal teams within the bank to ensure the smooth running of the execution process
• To conduct research and analysis on the Bank’s clients and prospects as well as industry sub-sectors and contribute ideas for those clients and prospects

Candidate Qualifications:

• Must already have an Associate title – Analysts need not apply
• Experience from a leading investment bank or advisory
• Excellent analytic, modeling, and technical skills
• Robust experience in Mergers & Acquisitions
• Strong client management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Solid professional writing skills, particularly in preparing CIMs and relevant documents and announcements
