Mountaincreek Property Group is a fast growing, commercial real estate acquisition, development, investment and advisory firm.

We specialize in (i) the acquisition and development of opportunistic real estate investments in our key markets of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Kentucky.

OPPORTUNITY:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real estate investing and/or a finance background to build upon his or her experience and do so in a dynamic work environment that covers multiple products, investment strategies and capital structures.

This individual will work directly with the executive team and participate in every step of the underwriting, negotiation, contracting, due diligence, risk management, renovation, financing and investor reporting for new opportunities.

The individual must have solid interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with senior management and be part of a team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide analytical support on a wide variety of assignments including market research, credit analysis, review of property operating statements, cash flow modeling, property valuation, and various capital structures.
• Create and update single-asset and portfolio-level cash flow proformas, valuations and sensitivity analysis.
• Create and update various promote structures and waterfall distributions of private partnerships.
• Research and summarize local real estate markets, trends and demographics.
• Participate in the evaluation of new investments and leading or assisting project underwriting.
• Able to assist with special operational projects, be it a new marketing initiative or capital improvement project.
• Prepare presentation materials and Private Placement Memorandums for lending institutions and equity partners.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and assisting with special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate Degree or CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an analyst with a real estate investment firm, developer, or investment bank.
• Candidate must have strong financial modeling expertise in commercial and/or multi-family real estate.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Candidate must have a high degree of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to review analyst reports and financial statements for credit related issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Diligent, hard–working, responsible, willing to work both in a team setting and independently.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to take direction.

COMPENSATION:

Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus commensurate with candidate’s previous work experience and performance with ability to earn into a GP promoted interest position.
