Internal Audit

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce’s client, a large manufacturing company along the lakeshore, is looking for an Internal Audit to add to their team in Holland, MI.

Summary: This position will report to the Audit Director.

Responsibilities will include evaluating and testing internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement to senior management, and evaluating compliance of GAAP and accuracy of financial statements.

This role will have responsibility for SOX testing, as well.

The internal audit department at this company is designed to be more consultative in partnering with other business units.

As part of your role in internal audit, you will also be assigned various special assignments outside of audit to help broaden your professional development.

Travel will be domestic and international once travel restrictions are lifted.

This role is currently 100% remote.

Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a CPA, CIA or CMA designation required Minimum of three years of strong finance and accounting work experience in positions of increasing responsibility including SEC Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and audit methodologies This role will interface a lot with Senior Management therefore strong communication and presentation skills are also required Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
