Interim Controller / Finance Director

Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking an Interim Controller/Finance Director.Summary:Our client is seeking an Interim Controller/Finance Director who will be responsible for leading the annual operational planning and budget development process, leading the organization’s investment portfolio, and providing financial literacy training to budget owners.

The Interim Controller/Finance Director will also be enforcing an internal control system, ensuring timely month end closes, and performing monthly financial variance analysis with supporting explanations.

Requirements

• The Interim Controller/Finance Director will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent; Accounting degree preferred
• MBA and CPA preferred
• 7+ years of broad accounting experience, with at least five years in the not-for-profit sector
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
