Institutional Fixed Income and Muni Sales

Institutional Fixed Income Sales Established Minority Owned Business Enterprise broker dealer, specializing in the banking and underwriting of a full array of municipal and corporate entities of a national scope seeks municipal sales and trading professionals to augment its growing industry presence.

Successful candidates will have at least 5-10 years of experience in the sales and/or trading of tax-exempt and taxable municipal securities, have developed extensive investor relationships and have readily transferable client books.

The hired candidates will gain access to a significant book of business currently being handled internally by the broker dealer, competitive salary, benefits and favorable commission rates.

SUMMARY Day to day management of relationships with asset managers (portfolio managers, analysts, hedge fund managers, pension funds, RIAs, traders).

Our products include, but are not limited to: Government Bonds, Corporates, MBS, Agencies, Treasuries and all Money Market Instruments.

We are seeking sales professionals with existing books of business.

We are also active in the secondary markets in our investment grade corporate fixed income business RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop account relationships with portfolio managers, analyst, hedge fund managers, traders that have the potential for daily/weekly trading business with the Firm.

• Responsible for the creation and servicing of day to day sales and trading for institutional clients.

• Provide timely feedback to team of client interaction, comments, concerns, etc.

to ensure the highest level of performance on behalf of the Firm.

• Continually monitor research application for developments, industry impacts, and related news items to accurately inform accounts of events that could impact their holdings.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Self-starter and motivated
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment Education, Training and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• FINRA Series 7/63 licensed
• Institutional Fixed Income account experience desired
• Experience in financial products for at least three years WORK ENVIRONMENT Travel primarily for client visits.
