In this role, you will work with experts in natural language processing, machine learning, data engineering, and business executives to deliver innovative technology-forward solutions.

You will be the subject matter expert in the deployment and operations for some of Huntington’s most valuable and most challenging data-driven projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the MLOps process, coordinating across data, developer, machine learning, and UX teams; delivering new capabilities and new value across the enterpriseIdentify ways to maximize the value of machine learning, while managing risk through ongoing monitoring and computer science development principalsEnsure machine learning solutions meet infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy, fair banking, and model risk requirementsDrive innovation and continual evolution of the development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning solutions, especially those that tie into key business applicationsStay current with emerging MLOps trends and toolsBasic RequirementsPh.D.

or master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.Three to five years related work experience in machine learning and cloud computingProficiency in several programming languages, including R, Python, Spark, and othersPreferred Skills and CharacteristicsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levelsExperience with MLOps platforms and deploying and monitoring machine learning solutions and applications for critical business processesPractical and theoretical knowledge of natural language processing and machine learning techniques and conceptsProgressive thinking and problem solving, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity/complexity.Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelinesTalent for inspiring high levels of professional demeanor and integrity EEO/AA Employer/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
