Global Medical Management
We are looking for a results-driven and confident Financial Controller to manage and improve the financial reporting activities of our four business units in the US.
Duties for the Head of Financial Reporting will include managing accounting, publishing financial statements, analyzing financial data, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
This role will play a key part in suggesting and implementing improvements to how finance operates across the Organization.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and be highly organized.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Oversight of statutory accounts and year-end audit process Accountable for the timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements Implementing accounting policies and procedures Responsible for operational process improvement to enhance controls, financial performance and date integrity Manage and cultivate a team of professionals to align with Company goals Foster a culture of collaboration and communication across all North American entities for Generali Global Assistance Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills: Proven 5-10 year experience in finance management Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals Compliance oriented Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) Analytical skills Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance Physical Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit for long periods of time; use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; finger dexterity; talk; hear.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
