Head of Consumer Finance

The Head of Consumer Finance will have complete ownership of developing and managing one of Company Smart Home’s five key value initiatives (Flex Pay). This multi-billion-dollar portfolio will provide financing solutions to an estimated 400,000 new customers per year. This newly created executive role will help scale the organization for growth while maintaining high service levels and operating efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver the optimal consumer financing program
• Manage multiple business partner relationships
• Develop the strategy for the consumer financing program, Company Flex Pay
• Lead preparation of financial analysis to drive program and present to senior level management
• Help define the appropriate metrics to consistently measure that will directly impact the financial performance of the company
• Work across multiple departments to lead special financial and business-related analysis aimed at identifying key trends and potential opportunities to drive improvement
• Project and program management of the consumer financing program

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational finance with increasing responsibilities of leadership
• CMA/ MBA Finance/ CPA Preferred
• Strong team player with detailed understanding of financial modeling
• Advanced business case analytic skills
• Executive level presentation and PowerPoint skills
• Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
• Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in IT requirement gathering, project scoping and testing
