General Ledger Accountant

ISSA is the International Sports Sciences Association and we’re making the world a healthier place by training and certifying a new generation of personal trainers, nutrition coaches, health coaches and much more!

We are looking for a GL Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the month end close process.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and post necessary journal entries.
Prepare and post monthly accrual journal entries.
Reconcile bank statements.
Assist with ad hoc projects from Sr.

Accountant and/or Controller.
Assist with annual audits.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge looks like:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Understanding of GAAP.
Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
