Financial Systems Support Analyst

Key contributor and core team member for 3E implementation;
Responsible for system balancing, month end close processes, user training, user guidance;
Provide technical support for testing, installing and maintaining enterprise and web-based financial applications;
Executes testing of new financial applications or upgrades/enhancements to existing applications;
Work with users in support of financial database needs & requirements and process & software modifications;
Contribute technical and business skills to recommend automated workflow solutions to improve business processes;
Assists in the maintenance of Elite Document Studio templates for cash disbursements, client invoices and billing proformas;
Assist with reporting needs by utilizing knowledge of database and application functionality;
May research new technology options and solutions in order to meet department goals and/or objectives;
Serves as liaison between Accounting Department and Information Technology to ensure required support is provided and to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of department operations;
Adept at embracing new opportunities and challenges; proven experience with new initiatives and associated change management;
Commitment to teamwork and collaborative problem solving;
Complete special projects as assigned;
Communicate courteously and professionally by phone and in person, using good communication skills;
Keep supervisor abreast of current issues and potential problems as they develop; seeks advice as needed;
Maintain a neat and orderly workplace;
Use office equipment including PC’s, phones, photocopy machines, facsimile machines and calculators;
Follow appropriate safety procedures while carrying out all duties.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.

A.) from four-year college or university in Information Systems or related discipline; and three year’s experience in database analysis, programming and/or operations.

Knowledge of standard accounting policies and procedures and/or law firm operations and accounting education or experience is preferred.
