The GEICO Financial Systems support team, which supports the Office of Finance, has exciting opportunities for experienced Financial Systems Analysts to join our team!As a member of our team you will be responsible for technical & business analysis, eliciting and writing system requirements, system configuration and testing, and project management activities.
The successful candidate is a FinTech professional who is results-oriented, a proven problem-solver through critical thinking & creativity, and highly adaptable to change.These positions will provide many opportunities to drive financial processing innovation and will provide exposure to many facets of company operations which impact corporate financial processing and reporting.Job Responsibilities:Analyze functional and system processesParticipate in the development of business requirements for financial, SCM and treasury system projectsSystem setup and configurationCreate and execute test plansAct as liaison between users and IT to coordinate system activitiesProvide system support and training to Controller and Treasurer Staff, and other users company-wide.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Information Systems, or equivalent financials degree with relevant experience.1-3 years experience in financials systems analysis, requirements gathering and testing (Workday Financials experience preferred)Understanding of financials concepts, and financials processing and controlsUnderstanding of, and experience with, change management processes and communicationProven analytical and problem-solving abilityExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailLeadership skills to coordinate activities and drive resultsAbility to collaborate with a group of experienced diverse professionalsHighly Preferred Qualifications:One year of Workday systems support experienceExperience with financial, procurement and/or cash systems and an understanding of accounting concepts is strongly desiredExperience with reporting tools and the Microsoft Office suite, including MS projectExperience with Workday Financials and/or Adaptive InsightsThe ideal candidate(s) will be able to work independently given general direction and also thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing.Benefits:At GEICO, we make sure you have the support and resources to leverage and develop your skills, secure your financial future, and take care of your health and well-being.
