Financial Services Representative Floater

Insight Credit Union is looking for a passionate trusted financial advisor who is qualified and has the desire to provide an excellent service experience to our members/non-members.

A Financial Services Representative Floater assists members and potential members with their Credit Union needs in various branch locations, with home base in the Leesburg Branch* located at:
300 Webster St.

Leesburg, FL 34748
*(This position will be based out of the Leesburg branch, but will float between the Leesburg and Eustis branches as needed).

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive Central Florida hourly pay of $14.50 to $15.50 based on experience.

Internal offers will be based on compensation policy.

Schedule & Training

Shift includes 32
– 40 hours per week between Monday
– Friday (8am -6pm) and Saturday (9am-12pm).

Hours will be based on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Assist members with opening, maintaining and closing accounts.

May be responsible for IRA transactions including processing and posting.

Utilize strong listening and conversation based approach to understand and uncover the member’s needs.

Identify, research, and resolve member’s issues using available resources and systems.

Respond to members’ requests in a timely and professional manner.

Build member relationships by identifying opportunities and referring credit union products.

Perform multiple tasks and navigate multiples systems simultaneously.

Acts as liaison between members/non-members with various departments and vendors.

Check accounts statuses, explains fees incurred and helps members with any issues.

Assist with consumer loan applications, ensures date accuracy and integrity, and prepares loans for scheduled funding at a branch location.

Open, maintain and close member’s safe deposit boxes.

Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Other Skills: Able to operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.

Must be good with attention to detail with numbers and names.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand and walk or maneuver around the branch.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
