Financial Reporting Analyst

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for the preparation and review of QTS’ core reporting as well as various data compilation and analysis projects.

This position reports to the Sr.

Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting.**RESPONSIBILITIES**
– Other duties may be assigned.
• Assists in the preparation and analysis of various monthly revenue reports
• Assists in the preparation of monthly internal reporting packages, including compilation and reporting on various performance metrics
• Ad hoc data requests and financial analyses
• Preparation of supporting documentation used for management inquiries
• ERP report writing to generate needed financial reports
• Assist in process improvements and ad-hoc projects, including utilizing technology to automate current reports and developing new analysis to understand the business
• Effective communication and explanation of financial metrics to various groups within the organization (e.g.

investor relations, accounting, strategic planning & investments, property development, sales, etc.)**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required+ One or more years of financial reporting experience**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**+ Two or more years of financial reporting experience+ Public accounting experience+ CPA or MBA+ Advanced Excel experience strongly recommended+ Experience with Workday or Microsoft Dynamics GP**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Strong analytical and technical skills and experience analyzing and interpreting data+ Sound organizational skills necessary to multi-task projects of varying duration and ad-hoc data requests+ Ability to work extended hours as neededWe conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
