Financial Operations Associate

Description:

We are looking for a Financial Operations Associate to fill an immediate opening. The qualified Financial Operations Associate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping environment, preferably in a financial services or deposit operations setting. The Financial Operations Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting, editing, and reconciling transactions.

• Completes daily operational activities, including client/bank transaction posting, CD interest posting, funds movement requests, balancing, and reconcilement.
• Uploads/releases ACH files, wire transfers, and other funds movements.
• Completes monthly operational activities, including: reconcilement of bank statements and client statement rendering.
• Assists in completing bank and client account maintenance.

.Requirements:

• Degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
• Three year’s experience in an accounting or bookkeeping environment, preferably in a financial services setting.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with internal customers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of documents such as policies, procedures, etc.
• Ability to perform simple to moderately complex accounting/bookkeeping transactions.
• Intermediate level Excel skills.
