Responsibilities

  • Lead financial management projects including; conducting interviews with client stakeholders, documenting processes, performing research and analysis, and presenting analysis updates to senior team members and/or client, and managing client deliverable timeline
  • Daily responsibility for project team activities, high-quality project deliverables, and client relationship management
  • Provides coaching and feedback to junior team members
  • Convey ideas clearly in an oral and written manner, both one-on-one and in small groups 
  • Collaborate across multiple work streams to leverage work and supporting evidence
  • Lead and/or significantly contribute to business development initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

· 5+ years of professional accounting experience including preparing Federal financial statements

· Knowledge of budget execution and expenditures, account analysis including relationships between budgetary and proprietary accounts, posting models and source systems

· Excellent communication and writing skills

· Strong Microsoft Office skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, business or related field

· Project/Program management skills

Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire

Preferred:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
  • Familiar with federal guidance and standards including the U.S Standard General Ledger, FASAB, the GAO Green Book, OMB Circulars A-11, A-123, and A-136, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting clients in a dynamic environment with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in internal controls, risk management, audit, audit remediation, business process improvement, and training
