nnPrivate Company seeks a Financial Controller for its Distribution Warehouse located in Chester, NY.
nn nnThe ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data.
The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
nn nn nn nn Responsibilities nn Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for multi
– company.
Prepare monthly closing/journal entries for multi
– company.
Prepare and analyze quarterly budget reports.
Prepare annual budget financials, trial balance and quarterly financial statements for bank reporting.
Maintain fixed asset depreciation and amortization schedules.
Work with senior accountant and CFO to prepare year-end financial statements and notes.
Release and reconcile bank transfers daily.
Manage and monitor multi-currency accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for multi
– company.
nn n nn nn Qualifications nn Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience in the area Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proficiency with current financial software i.e.
NetSuite or a similar cloud-based platform nn n nn
