Analyzes financial documents, statistical data, historical data and presents to and interprets for management.3. Participates in the establishment and maintenance of cost accounting systems.4. Audits accounting systems, reconciles data, and resolves technical problems or recommends solutions when appropriate.5. Analyzes trends and possible consequences.6. Recommends and implements improvements that affect accounting systems and departmental operations.7. May prepare and monitor departmental budget.8. Also required are a thorough knowledge of established accounting principles and practices; spreadsheet and database skills; knowledge of statistics and demonstrated analytical,problem solving, human relation and effective communication skills required. An advanced degree, such as a Master’s of Business Administration, is preferred.
