Summary:
This position supports both the compliance and financial operations of the 340B program for Presbyterian Hospitals.
This role involves investigating, responding, and reporting accurate data related to the 340B programs split billing and contract pharmacy operations.
The 340B Analyst II will use multiple data sources and multiple business intelligence tools to analyze statistical and financial information in order to optimize program compliance and profitability.
This position will provide analytical support for all operations, initiatives and implementations.
Responsibilities:

Extract, aggregate, and analyze large data sets and complex data files from multiple sources for purposes of strengthening compliance and optimizing revenue.
Develop and maintain metrics, financial reports, and models to monitor the business performance of the program financial trending, contract modeling, and aging schedules.
Perform complex operational and financial reconciliations to identify program exceptions and variances.
Analyze root cause and follow up with appropriate system corrections.
Prepare and review monthly accounting reports and journal entries, validating for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with accounting department to design accounting processes that accurately reflect business operations.
Quantify and explain monthly budget to actual variances and provide budget re-projections to accounting department.
Assist with annual budget process.
Use databases to generate monthly samples for transaction testing.
Prepare auditing reports, conduct table top self audits, document and track all issues.
Document audit action plan assignments and resolutions.
Perform detailed review of proposed contracts, ensuring accuracy and consistency with prior contract terms.
Track progress through to final signatory execution and validate proper archiving.
Participate in testing and validation of system implementations, configuration changes, and programming enhancements for accuracy.

BA BS degree.
1 or more years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong working knowledge and or experience with Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Database experience desirable.
Excellent data analysis skills with the demonstrated ability to act on analysis results.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting established deadlines.
340B Analyst II
BA BS degree, preferably in finance, economics, statistics or other quantitative background.
3 or more years of progressive, financial or analytical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong working knowledge and or experience with Microsoft Office products Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, relational databases, and other analytical tools.
IT related pharmacy experience desirable.
Excellent data analysis skills with the demonstrated ability to act on analysis results.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting established deadlines.
