Title: Financial Analyst Location: Madison, WI 53718 Contract: 12 Months Remote for now

– Approximately 5 years experience in Finance.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid quantitative/analytical and computer skills with ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines.

Intermediate to advanced level Excel/Word
– Microsoft Office experience.

Any type of accounting software, ERP knowledge
– Unique ERP, linked with offshore parent company.

Looking for someone who is Software literate who can easily pick up on things.

You must be self-sufficient.

Manager has an open door policy and is always available, however, expectation is that you will have the skills to think outside the box and troubleshoot first.

3-4 Must Haves
– Hands on General ledger/accounting experience.

Financial Reporting experience (putting together income statements, pulling GL detail).

Resource should be able to multi task and be able to think outside the box and be able to run with things.

The manager and team is looking for someone used to dealing people, particularly farmers and has agricultural experience (a big plus) and is a good communicator.

Cross functional team experience is helpful (experience with global team).

An individual who is not afraid to speak up, ask questions and not be afraid to learn.

– Jenn Adrian The resource will be accountable and responsible for ensuring that the transactions of the SCR Dairy North America market have been properly accounted for and accurately reflect our company’s accounting process.

The objective of this role is to work closely with other Accounting team members, Finance and other Business Partners, to ensure that the accounting records: accurately reflect the results of the associated business process, are in line with US GAAP and comply with local statutory and tax requirements.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide general ledger support and analysis inclusive of period end financial close responsibilities for SCR Dairy North America region Provide support across General Ledger and other sub-process activities Maintain an accurate and current accounting ledger which reflects the region’s transactional reality through timely posting of all required items Ensure that all transactions are correctly reflected in the ledger on a legal entity basis Ensure accurate and timely period reporting that complies with Corporate requirements Responsible for monthly Account Reconciliation processes on a timely basis and adhering to all corporate standards and guidelines Actively identify opportunities for streamlining and rendering service delivery more efficiently, and participating in special projects Work closely with other team members to effectively manage workload and gain exposure to multiple finance and business disciplines within our company This is a new role and will develop as time goes on.

Resource will conduct journal entries, account reconciliations, collections, misc projects such as upcoming Software changes from ERP to SAP (next year) and implementing billing software (Oct 1st 2020).

Mgr will need help with financial reporting and analysis such as financial consolidation and balance sheets.

Because the team is so small, there are overlap in duties.

Must have a willingness to learn other/new duties.
