Our client is a highly reputable Atlanta based firm, seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join their Finance team.

Job duties include:
Perform financial analysis, business modeling of operating results, and ad hoc report requests
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on a regular basis and provide analysis of business performance.
Communicate and interact effectively with various departments.
Must be able to synthesize data from multiple sources and present effectively.
Process and systems improvements, where applicable
Responsibilities also include participating in special projects as required
Draft financial statement footnote disclosure as required by the financial reporting standards Perform analysis of the financial statements to verify accuracy to accounting records.

Maintain audit support schedules during the year
Ensure the integrity and quality of entries adheres to GAAP and SEC

Qualifications:
BS Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
CPA required
Minimum 2-5 years financial analysis experience.
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations/solutions to the business.
Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.
Strong computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel as well as experience with financial applications and databases.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) as well as the ability to present data and findings.
Proactive work style with ability to work independently as well as with others.
