Financial Analyst – Customer Acquisition

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Rockville, MD that is seeking a Financial Analyst – Customer Acquisition. Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide comprehensive monthly and quarterly business operations management and vendor usage reporting along with relevant KPIs
- Proactively seek to identify opportunities to create efficiency, including ownership of projects to develop and improve processes, improving cost traceability across systems, providing data relevant to contract negotiations, and supporting a variety of other efforts meant to drive improved margins
- Works in partnership with leadership to develop metrics and KPIs to track strategic projects performance and value creation
- Monitoring of key performance indicators and ensure integrity and accuracy in monthly operational reporting
- Track performance of the Procurement team against established metrics, maintaining dashboards and providing ongoing reporting, including executive-level summaries
- Support FP&A and Procurement teams in delivering actionable insights on financial performance and opportunities for program improvement
- Review supplier-provided reporting and spend visibility output to evaluate compliance with preferred providers and identify potential sourcing opportunities
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting with 4 years relevant work experience
- 2 full years of progressive college education leading to a degree with 5 years relevant work experience; Equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience managing programs and projects
- Knowledge of key accounting processes like month end accruals, billing etc.
