Analyst – Health System
Assists with the preparation of financial statements. Prepares comparative analysis reports to analyze cost and revenue variations to the financial condition. Assists in the preparation of Operating Budget. Prepares documents and gathers feedback from department managers to complete budget process. Participates in the annual Audit and assists with the preparation of the 990 and Medicare Cost report.Prepares entries for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. Verifies entries in ledger with source data to resolve balance discrepancies. Evaluate existing procedures for recording assets, liabilities, and financial transactions to determine methods of reducing time and cost of accounting operations.
Requirements:
Minimum of three to five years experience within a hospital or healthcare system as an analyst. Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting from an accredited institution required. Interpersonal skills must be well developed. Must possess the ability to set and achieve high standards of performance and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. MBA or CPA a plus.
