Financial Analyst

Phoenix Analytic Services, Inc., based in Denver, Colorado, is a leading consulting firm specializing in the valuation and analysis of mortgage servicing rights. PAS provides full servicing rights valuation and accounting outsourcing support to over 175 bank and mortgage company clients. We are currently seeking Financial Analyst candidates.

Responsibilities :

• Perform mortgage servicing portfolio modeling and analysis
• Communicate directly with clients during the valuation process
• Work in a high pressure, team oriented environment
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and seamlessly switch priorities as needed
• Manage various research projects, including tracking and analyzing industry benchmarks
• Perform ad hoc projects to meet client specific requirements

Qualifications:

• Understanding of mortgage banking industry, mortgage servicing rights, and discounted cash flow analysis highly preferred.
• Strong analytic and problem solving abilities and overall financial aptitude.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills. SQL and discounted cash flow modeling experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal business communication, including ability to interact with clients directly and concisely summarize details.
• Comfortable with the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a smaller entrepreneurial organization.
• Sound business judgment.

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate and/or advanced degrees in Finance, Financial Modeling, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 2-5+ years experience preferred.
