Financial Analyst 4

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the Lam FP&A Finance Team and reporting to Manager, the individual will lead and manage all aspects of various department budgets from forecasting to tracking actuals.

Responsible for end-to end process of department budget forecasts including but not limited to preparing and maintaining the HC Point Of Record (POR), annual budgets, forecasts, contract reviews, purchase requisition approvals and sensitivity analysis for department’s cost centersAssemble and interpret departmental costs and present analysis to executive management for strategic business decisionsTrack and report spend on capital expenditure against approved budgetsPerform quarter-end close activities like accrual entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, quarterly checklistsWork on automation of activities that are highly repetitive and voluminous Provide financial support for adhoc projectsMinimum QualificationsSkillsExpert knowledge of SAP and Business Objects or similar systems expertiseStrong system skills, including proficiency in financial modeling using advanced Excel functions.

Knowledge of database systems for potential alternative solution options a plusGood interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with team throughout the organizationFlexible, organized and able to work under time constraints and deadlines and with attention to detailEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance5-7 years experience working in finance and/or accountingExperience with manufacturing industry preferredIndustry knowledge preferredOur CommitmentOur work is everywhere you look – even if you can’t actually see it.
