Nestlé Purina is expanding!

Introducing Nestlé Purina’s newest factory in the U.S.

– in Hartwell, Georgia – just shy of 110 miles northeast of Atlanta.

We opened a state of the art distribution center in 2018 and production facility in 2019 – our first new factory in over 20 years!

We’re thrilled to be joining the Hartwell, GA community and to welcome as many as 240 new members to the Nestlé Purina family by 2023.

With more than 100 acres, this 500,000 square foot facility will serve as our most versatile facility with the ability to switch product lines faster and more efficiently than we have ever done before; all while distributing the Nestlé Purina brands our customers trust and pets love!

As a Financial Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the factory financial structure and providing accuracy in the forecasting, reporting, and analysis of operating costs.

You must ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards, and company policies and standards. 

Primary Responsibilities:

-Develop and manage factory budgets and costs.

-Complete required factory accounting activities, including performing monthly general ledger closing activities in SAP.

-Maintaining factory compliance by verifying with company policies, procedures and standards.

Develop, research, communicate and implement new or updated procedures as dictated by business needs.

-Work cross-functionally with department leads and Corporate finance team.

-Spend time on the factory floor through leadership activities, working with team leaders and interacting with hourly employees, supporting fixed asset inventories.

B asic Qualifications (Minimum):

-Bachelor’s Degree in an accounting, finance, business, or related field 
-3+ years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting, operations control, budgeting, and variance analysis 
-1+ years of supervisory experience
