This role provides financial oversight to DVCs condominium associations.
This includes leading a team of accounting professionals in maintaining the financial records of the associations as well as financial reporting and budgeting processes.
Additionally, this leader will need to develop strong partnerships with clients providing financial analysis and recommendations to influence and drive business decisions that impact the associations.
Responsibilities: Lead of a team of accounting professionals in all aspects of financial reporting for 10 Condominium Associations Oversee the annual audit for the Associations and ensure compliance with condominium statutes Ensure timely processing and payment of the Associations financial obligations Recommend and implement process improvements Lead the development of the annual dues budget for each Association Ensure the annual operating forecast for each Association aligns with changes in the business and influence partners to ensure alignment with budget guidelines Assist in the preparation for the Annual Member meeting presentation Basic Qualifications: Proficient in accounting principles and financial reporting Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail Proven experience in developing, coaching and leading teams Strong analytical and budget/forecasting skills Demonstrated problem solving skills with a focus on long term solutions that drive efficiencies Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Strong partnering skills with both internal and external partners Preferred Qualifications: Experience in timeshare or resort industries Working knowledge of SAP and Longview Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent Preferred Education Masters degree in Business Administration or equivalent Certified Public Accountant
