Finance Clerk

If you are looking to grow your accounting skills and are immediately available work, Ledgent Finance & Accounting has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist you need to check out! We are seeking an Accounting Clerk on a temp to hire basis located in the Spring area of Houston, TX. This exciting opportunity can start as soon as this week and is 100% in office. Candidates will have the opportunity to preform multiple accounting functions daily. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with performing data entry and administrative duties for accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing departments. This position reports to the Accounting Manager. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly account reconciliations 
• Create reports and financial statements
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies 
• Assist with AP, AR and Collections
• Posting to the General Ledger

 
Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong customer service skills
• General Ledger knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Problem solving skills
• Must be IMMEDIATELY available 

Pay: $18 – 22/hr. depending on experience.
