Responsibilities:
Performs assigned tasks under direction of team leadership; Attend meetings as needed, participating in team collaboration to ensure project completion Document audit procedures of how the work was performed by describing the purpose, source, scope, methodology, criteria, conclusions, and recommendations; Fully support audit conclusions reached with results and documentation of detailed testing procedures, including planning documentation, assessment program guides, checklists, audit/examination documentation, summaries, flowcharts and related documentation, risk assessment matrices, and evidence of supervisory review;
Contain all contributing Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS or Yellow Book) elements (e.g., condition, cause, criteria, and effect) for control weaknesses, significant deficiencies, and other findings, as well as recommendations.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in accounting or a related discipline; A minimum of two years of experience; A desire to obtain the CPA license required, CDFM and/or CGFM preferred; Federal financial statement audit experience preferred; Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellowbook); Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a Security clearance required; active clearance highly preferred.
