SummaryGrows the business by developing and managing new and existing product lines including full project management of the design, development, and commercialization of new products acting as liaison with all business units involved to successfully launch product.Essential Job Duties Support product implementation and deployment.

Manage vendor relationships and identify emerging technology platforms.

Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate agreements and contracts, and manage the integration of partners.

Secure necessary engagement and resource alignment for the creation of co-developed product features.

Manage products throughout entire product life cycle, including initiating.

Initiate new product ideas and concepts.

Work with engineering through development processes.

Work with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to coordinate development process, new product releases, and launces.

Provide competitive landscape pricing analysis.

Specifies requirements for current and future products and services by partnering with sales, marketing, engineering, and end users.

Analyzes product and service needs in a way that truly captures the “voice of the customer.” Translates the technical context of customer requirements and functional specifications into terms that our development teams can clearly understand and implement.

Carries out market and competitive research to stay abreast of leading-edge developments in specific industries.

Manages products and services through all lifecycle phases.

Continuously reviews profitability of assigned product sets and adjusts pricing or drives cost reduction initiatives as required to maintain product viability.

Develops and manages product & service implementation plans while effectively collaborating with customers and departments to accomplish project goals (including business objectives, quality requirements, and customer needs).

Works with marketing services to develop, maintain, and improve supporting materials (documentation, promotional items, video, etc.) to help improve Sales, market acceptance and long-term support of the assigned product set.

Assists the field service & sales teams for key accounts including delivery of technical presentations/demonstrations to customers as needed.

Assists sales & service as required to assure appropriate levels of aptitude necessary for sales, installation, and ongoing support.

Participates, as needed, in the staffing at industry related tradeshows and events.

Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a technical Product Management role.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing is strongly preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products – specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
