•Sources, identifies and prequalifies deposit and fee income opportunities including treasury management, merchant services, and commercial card
•Drives for success in booking commercial deposit opportunities
•Grows revenue by successfully prospecting for new business
•Acts as a strong partner to other lines of business in uncovering and referring opportunities within the bank to their respective divisions
•Utilize salesforce.com to manage call/relationship management activities
•Work closely with CIT marketing team to develop and execute a regional industry plan (eg.
conferences, events, associations, ad placements, thought leadership pieces) to help expand brand awareness and additional sources of new business
• Work with sales teams to maximize revenue production
• Provide strategies that build deeper client relationships while producing higher revenue
• Curate client-facing and employee facing working capital documentation
• Design the consultative selling programs for existing and onboarding employees
• Create and facilitate revenue enablement curriculum for all effected employees
• Integrate working capital principles into the content of commercial banking offerings
• Collaborate with management in working capital sales coaching and development plans
• Support solution enhancements in the commercial bank with consultative sales principles
• Provide documentation, such as white papers, case studies, and articles promoting working capital optimization for the commercial bank and its clients.
10-15 years of commercial bank or treasury management experience with positions of increasing responsibility
Functional expertise in treasury management and working capital products and processes
Leading expertise in consultative selling, revenue enablement, and customer success
Consistent history of sales success and building and implementing similar successful initiatives
Sales and revenue enablement leadership within a large financial organization
Outstanding negotiation, influence, public speaking and corporate communication skills
Experience selling and presenting at a C-Suite level
Comprehensive knowledge of sales models used in the financial industry
