This role will be responsible for leading efforts to translate data and insights for the entire healthcare delivery system and have reporting responsibility directly to a health system CFO.

as you take on some tough challenges.nn nn Primary Responsibilities: nn Lead sales, development and delivery of financial analytic solutions to meet key client business challenges Accountability to lead and oversee the creation of financial projections and pro-formas Lead team creating financial models to support negotiations and presentations Support and lead the creation of financial feasibility analyses Support the design of new programs and products in collaboration with clinical partners Perform quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization and cost data Support new business development activities Create financial forecasts and trends Support prioritization efforts of competing business needs considering resource availability Act as a subject matter expert in the best practices of content curation and analytical storytelling for financial reporting and analytics Ensure effective documentation processes throughout all the entire analytical lifecycle Create content onboarding and rollout strategies that promote the adoption and utilization of new analytical tools, products, or capabilities Partner with analytical platform teams, data engineering, and data governance to support analytical best-practices and common standards nn nn nn Key Activities: nn Drive and oversee the creation and optimization of healthcare financial analytics to support data-driven decision making with health system leadership Provide leadership to financial analysts to evolve healthcare financial analytics to increase insight generation, root-cause identification, and best-practice adoption Develop and evaluate sophisticated analytical models that enable insights and clear actionability to support organizational goals Drive processes and accountability for the continuous rationalization of the healthcare financial analytics portfolio Design and implement content curation and dissemination best practices tailored to all levels of decision making (i.e.

from real-time tactical decision making to long-term financial strategy) Partner with analytical platform teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in aggregation and alignment of foundational data assets needed to power financial analytics Partner with other domain leaders to infuse financial, clinical, quality, and patient outcome insights into the decision-making process for operational, financial, growth, and other focus areas Drive consulting sales through compelling communication of the value of financial analytics nn nn nnYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.nn nn nn nn nn nn Required Qualifications: nn Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field 10+ years of healthcare experience in understanding healthcare finance and ecosystem 5+ years of experience strategic and operational working knowledge of healthcare delivery system in value-based care and fee for service environments 5+ years of experience in analyzing hospital financial operations, clinical variation in the hospital environment and/or experience in providing financial modeling analytical support in negotiations with payors and providers Advanced proficiency working with MS Excel Ability to travel 25% to 50% If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.

network management, value-based care, population health, quality, compliance, provider engagement, etc.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
