Director Of Accounting

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for SEC filings of Forms 10-Q and 10-K + coordination of footnotes support and required disclosures
Responsible for monthly completion and accuracy of the Statement of Equity and the Statement of Cash Flows
Manages the design of corporate investor and public relations strategy
Creates annual and quarterly reports
Accuracy and maintenance of stock-based compensation, including valuation of non-employee stock-based awards and modifications
Research and drafting of technical accounting memos
Participate in intangible asset and contingent consideration liability valuation procedures, and the annual goodwill impairment assessment

Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
CPA (preferred) or in progress
5-15 years public accounting OR strong industry experience
NetSuite or other major ERP
5-15 years experience
If 5 years all 5 years in Big 4
If in Big 4 at least a manager for a few years
Big Four public companies SEC filings 10Q and 10K filings is a must
Working on statement of cash flow, earnings per share, stock-based compensation (options) is a must
Technical accounting and new accounting standards – ASC 606, ASC 842 (newer accounting standards) public companies have had to implement, should have been heavily involved
