KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join KPMG Lighthouse
– Center of Excellence for Advanced Analytics supporting our Financial Services Industry.

Responsibilities: D&A Modelers help to bridge the gap between technical modeling needs (i.e., data science) and business issues skewing toward data science but also bring big data engineering capabilities playing an important “utility” role helping to manage overall solutioning Assess, capture, and translate complex business issues and requirements into structured analytics use case, including rapid learning of industry/domain/client dynamics and development of effective work stream plans Meet/exceed established revenue targets independently leading client interactions accurately estimate efforts, price and scope to set realistic expectations and facilitate the entire sales cycle Research and communicate sector or process-specific data and D&A solution design requirements, including building such design requirements into targeted visualizations; Deliver client project modeling work stream through direct ownership of data integration, validation, mining, and modeling, as well as client communication deliverables Proactively broaden and deepen client relationships by working with varying levels of client team members and Utilize a hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach to design and review with clients all aspects of an organization-specific D&A target operating model Manage complex engagements, mentor others and support project leaders in tracking and communicating project risks, budget, rates, and launch/closeout activities, including the administration of work papers and collaboration sites Qualifications: Minimum of ten years of data analytics experience with a professional services firm, an internal strategy/analytics group, or similar environment with previous experience in strategy and/or analytics consulting highly regarded Technical quantitative BS degree, combined with modelling work experience or training equivalent to an MS Analytics degree, with working knowledge of modelling (regression, machine learning, feature selection, dimension reduction, validation), data (extracting, preparing, munging, validating), and building analytics pipelines Proficiency with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, Alteryx, SQL Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to business audiences, and to explain business concepts to technical resources and knowledge of or strong aptitude for quick learning business operational, process, delivery, and revenue models Broad, versatile knowledge of analytics landscape, with demonstrated solution design and build expertise, work stream management skills, and business consulting acumen in applying advanced analytics to solve business issues Ability to travel up to 80%.
